The Women’s Commission of AP is all set for giving notice to RGV on behalf of the Rashtra Mahila Commission. The notice demands that RGV give an explanation.
Ram Gopal Varma has been getting a lot of hate for controversial remarks on BJP presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu. Varma had tweeted, “If DRAUPADI is the PRESIDENT, who are the PANDAVAS? And more importantly, who are the KAURAVAS?” Vasireddy Padma said the RGV should immediately withdraw his comments.
He made good and bad comments on the films made by other directors. One film was made by a director against RGV also showing him as a controversial director.
Earlier RGV made comments against the family of Chiranjeevi, especially Pawan Kalyan. Some BJP leaders have also registered a case under the SC/ST Atrocities Act and are demanding severe punishment for the director.
In 2019, RGV had made a biopic against NTR, showing Chandraababu the TDP chief in a bad light to hurt TDP’s image, which indirectly helped YS Jagan in winning the elections.
