If KTR becomes the Chief Minister of Telangana, who will become the working President of the party is the question. KCR will continue as the party President and there is no second thinking on this.
But there should be some kind of balancing act to take the party forward for the coming elections. If it is an early poll, it will be difficult for KTR.
Harish Rao the popular leader from Siddipet has to be satisfied and kept busy so that the disgruntled elements don’t provoke him. Harish has been further isolated after he lost Dubbka to BJP with a slender margin.
There is a talk that KCR might give the working President post to Harish Rao to balance the power equations. Etela Rajendar who has been snubbed several times should also be satisfied in one form or the other.
The BJP leaders Bandi Sanjay is already provoking Etela in open. Etela earlier raised the bogey of dissent, but he was pacified by KCR the TRS Boss. He was shifted from Finance to Health.
Some wishful thinking is also going on that there could be a division in the TRS, if KTR takes over as the CM. But that is not going to happen as everyone would like to stay with the ruling party and get the things done.
