The Congress Government has promised free power of 200 units for all in the state of Telangana after coming to power. But they said that it will be for white ration card holders only.
Now they are saying only you consumer under 200 units of power with white ration card and other rules and regulations. May be only ten per cent of people are getting this benefit.
People with white cards if they go over 200 units they will not get free power. The tenants will not get the free power. They one can imagine how many of them are getting this free power.
All including the people in a jhopdi will have a fan, fridge, TV these days apart from the regular consumption of power. In this case we can say that the Congress government has indirectly cheated the people of Telangana by saying 200 units of free power in general and now with riders they are giving the same to few people and the number is negligible.
There are poor people with three house very small under 25 yards with one meter. In reality they are eligible for free power but with one meter the units cross 200 and they don’t get free power.
In all the slums we have three to four users under one meter and they don’t get free power. There are rich people with multiple meters and they get free power as the consumption is divided with number of meters.
