Former Chief Justice of India Bobde wanted the superstar Shahrukh Khan to mediate in the Ayodhya Babri Masjid issue. So that the issue can be resolved through mediation.
He suggested Singh, the Supreme Court Bar association president to talk to Shahrukh over the matter of mediation. SRK was more than winning to negotiate for resolving the issue.

While Bobde was in the initial stage of the Ayodhya hearing, he was of the firm view that the problem could be resolved through mediation.
