The Congress party which is reeling in trouble in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is yet to decide if it has to travel with TDP or not. It is reported that Rahul Gandhi the Congress chief has suggested that the Congress party across the nation should go for alliances and join with the majority of the parties to beat BJP at the National level. Citing the example of the Karnataka, Rahul said that with alliances it would be easy to get power or stop the BJP from coming to power.
Even the TDP is untouchable the Congress chief opined.
It is reported that before the no-confidence motion that Congress and the TDP chiefs had a good interaction and understanding over the future. Now the TDP also wants Congress in Andhra Pradesh desperately to beat the BJP. But the Congress has all kind of doubts about the behaviour of Chandrababu.
More or less it looks like the elections may not be in 2018. Except for the TRS and KCR, no other party or chief is confident on early polls. All others want the polls in 2019. After the No confidence motion even Modi is doubtful about the outcome of the early polls. Amit Shah is working hard for the coming elections and is trying to bring in the poll strategist Prashant Kishore for next polls.
The AP Congress and the TS Congress both are in doubt if they should align with the TDP for the coming elections. But Babu is eager to join hands with the TDP.
