The RTC strike in Telangana has already crossed the 15 nth day and the employees are trying to find new ways and means to continue the protest.
Both the RTC employees and also the Cab drivers met Governor Tamilisai to protect their interest. But the Governor has appealed to the employees and workers to call off the strike in the interest of the public in general.
Harish Rao was first involved with Union and later he quit the responsibility. But he along with KTR are not making any statements over the ongoing strike.
Meanwhile, the Government has decided that the schools will reopen from Monday despite the strike of the RTC employees. There was an appeal from the employee’s unions that the senior Ministers like Harihs and Estela must talk about the strike issue.
They want Harish to come into the picture for resolving the issue. Meanwhile KCR the Chief Minister has not given permission to the senior leader K Kesava Rao over the issue.
Kesava Rao said that he was ready to mediate for resolving the strike. But KCR has suggested the leaders maintain silence over the issue and that the Government was seized of the matter.
Both the employee’s unions and the Government are at loggerheads and unless one of the parties climbs down the issue cannot be resolved. The Government made it clear that there no assurance of merging the corporation with the Government.
But the RTC JAC is hell-bent upon with the demand of merger with the Government.
