All is well with Amma Jayalalithaa

Amma is alright and all is well with  Amma Jaya the CM of Tamilnadu stated the medical experts. The hospital has almost turned into a temple with her fans and followers staying at the gate and praying for her day in and day out.

“The Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao was happy to note that the CM is recovering well. The Governor has pesonally visited Jaya in the hospital. He appreciated the doctors for providing the best medical care and treatment to the CM,” the release had stated.

British medical expert Dr Richard Beale, who was flown in a couple of days ago for guidance in the treatment of chief minister J Jayalalithaa, has “concurred with the present line of management”, said the Apollo Hospitals on Sunday, adding that she “is responding well to the treatment”.

In a statement released here, the Apollo Hospitals, where Ms Jayalalithaa was admitted on September 22 for fever and dehydration, said the “current treatment plan including appropriate antibiotics and other allied clinical measures are presently being continued to treat infection” based on the opinion from Dr Beale.

“Dr Richard Beale examined the Chief Minister, evaluated the various clinical reports of the Chief Minister and had detailed discussions with the expert group of Doctors treating the Chief Minister and concurred with the present line of management,” Subbiah Viswanathan, Chief Operating Officer, Apollo Hospitals, said in the release.

Dr Beale, a top-notch expert on acute lung injury, multiple organ failure and general intensive care, joined the team of doctors at the Apollo Hospitalson Friday.  Dr Beale, an international specialist and consultant at the Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospital, flew in here.

Consultant to several hospitals in Britain, Dr Beale’s clinical and research interests include sepsis, haemodynamic monitoring, advanced ventilation, nutrition in the critically ill, and intensive care informatics. “Based on the detailed discussions with the expert group of doctors had with Dr Beale, the current treatment plan including appropriate antibiotics and other allied clinical measures are presently being continued to treat infection,” the statement released by Apollo Hospitals said.

It also said Ms Jayalalithaa is “responding well to the treatment given to her” and that she has been advised a few more days in the hospital for treatment.
Ms Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road on September 22 with fever and dehydration. The medical bulletin from the hospital comes a day after Governor CH. Vidyasagar Rao visited the Chief Minister at the ward, where she is being treated and expressed happiness to note that she is recovering well.
