The welfare of the people should be the top priority of the Government advised K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of Telangana. He talked to the district collectors and officials today at Pragathi Bhavan.
It was like an orientation program for the new collectors who have been appointed in the recent reshuffle. The collectors from now on would monitor the implementation of the new Municipal act and also the revenue act.
Chief Minister KCR said that the collectors will be responsible for monitoring all the development works with the district as a unit. The erring officials will be removed from the duties he warned the collectors.
Every rupee being spent should reach the beneficiary that is the common man KCR suggested to the collectors. It was like a teacher taking calls to the students.
The collectors heard the Chief Minister with rapt attention an some of them have taken the notes also. He said that the collectors, in fact, should guide the officials to see that the things are done on time.
There should be no corruption at any stage in the implementation of the welfare schemes KCR suggested.
