The Telanana budget has given top priority to the welfare sector as told by CM KCR earlier. Welfare took the major chunk of the allocations and it is top on the agenda as presented by the Finance Minister Etela today in the Assembly.
The allocations have been made in such a fashion that all sections of the society are covered. Women and child welfare 1799 crore- Most backward classes 1000 crore- Washermen federation -200 crore- Minorities 2000 crore- 561 crore for pregnant women- 250 crore for Nayi brahmins- Kulgarbah Bhavan for Muslims 20 crore- Kalyana Laxmi Shadi Mubarak 1450 crore- double bedrooms 2643 crores – journalists welfare 75 crores- SC welfare 12709 crore – ST welfare 8063 crore- BC welfare 5920 crore – 3acre land for Dalits 1469 crore – SC development fund 16453 crore ST development 9693 crores have been allocated.
This can be said as the major allocations made by the Telangana government covering all the sections of the people. It can be said as the welfare budget.
