There were days when people used to say that some movies in Bollywood were made with Mafia money from Dubai. The name of Dawood Ibrahim was also linked.
The latest is about the movie called Liger and the investment came from Dubai they say. They are also linking the name of Kavitha with this investment. There is a case filed against Kavitha with the ED in Delhi in this connection.
Charmee and Puri Jagannath who were associated with the movie were questioned earlier by the ED and now the hero Vijay Devarkonda was questioned. Puri declared that the movie was a big loss.
Vijay Devarakonda is being questioned by the ED officials in Hyderabad. The ED officials feel that the money put up for Liger was sent to Dubai and from there was routed to the film.
All this is being investigated on a detailed note and today, it is the turn of Vijay to answer the questions from the ED. There were many instances where black money was dumped into the movies and then converted into white.
Sanjay Dutt used to work for many movies where this 2number money was invested through the mafia by the producers. That is where the budgets have gone up and the remunerations of the heroes have gone up.
Let’s hope Vijay will spill the beans and prove that he has got nothing to do with this black money. There is also a talk that the real estate tycoon My Home Ramehswar has also invested in the movie for Vijay Devarakonda.
Earlier Charmee and Puri were questioned about the drug peddling issue in Hyderabad.
