K Vishwanath the legendary director got some awards at the state and National level, but he was ignored after his death. The state should have given him the honours from the Government side.
But no one bothered. Even the film people did not honour him properly in the end. His dead body was kept in his house and then shifted to the Panjagutta burial ground for cremation.
The TVs played stories for many hours and praised him like anything. The film people or the Government must announce a statue or a memorial in his honour.
Coming to the state honours part, none knows why K Viswanath didn’t get it, but some say that the Telangana Government has stopped giving such honours as politics is being weaved around it.
Telangana didn’t give state honours to Jamuna as well in recent times, though they have given it for Kaikala Satyanarayana. However, some say that the political affiliations of these stars are determining whether they would get a state funeral or not. K Vishwanath or his family members don’t bother about all these things.
Chandramohan is related to Vishwanath, and he must try for a memorial to Vishwanath through the Government. SP Balasubramanyam is also related to Vishwanath.
