The Health Department of Telangana has identified that a man from Warangal has got the new Corona strain. CCMB has confirmed that it is the New Strain and was from Britain.
The new strain has been sent to Delhi for further investigation. The Telangana Government is yet to confirm this case on an official basis. But os far Andhra Pradesh has not confirmed any cases pertaining to the new strain.
Mask is the best way to stop the new strain suggested the health officials. The health department has already warned people to cover themselves with the masks and not to mingle with the groups.
The officials also suggested that it was not right to celebrate the New year in groups and that social distancing has to be observed. Minister for Health Etela Rajendar has already alerted the concerned officials and doctors over the new strain of Corona.
The security and the health departments have been put on alert on all airports in the country. The coming New year, Sankranthi celebrations including the Telugu New Year Ugadi will be on a low key naturally due to the Corona scare.
