The elections are round the corner in Telugu states. Most of the political parties want a media arm for self dabba. (publicity).Congress senior leader Komatireddy Venkatreddy and his younger brother Rajagopal have launched their own news channel Via Raj News. They also bought a share in an established Telugu daily it is learnt.
TPCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy launched a website exclusively covering his daily activities. The website uttamforyou.com is being published in Telugu, English and Urdu languages. He is planning to launch his own news channel and paper by March 2018.
Rajam who published Metro India in English earlier is coming up with the same title in Telugu. He is supporting BJP. The BJP leaders also wanted to own a news channel. But Venkaiah the VP suggested that BJP must try to use all the channels in a better and should not go for a channel. Otherwise, they will be isolated.
Congress leaders DK Aruna, Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy, Gandra Venakata Ramana Reddy and a group of Reddy leaders from Nizamabad and Warangal district were seriously planning to launch a Telugu News Channel.
Some of them are using the web channels and also the social media. The social media is not sparing any one. People think KCR got a lot of mileage from the T media. But the reality is different. He is a very hard worker and the media helps him only to some extent.
The very fact that there is no proper opposition helps him a lot in the long run.
