VVIPs from Telangana -AP and Tamilnadu lined up at the TTD for the darshan of Lord Sri Venkateshwara on the eve of the Vaikunta Ekadasi. TTD is overflowing with VIPs and Pilgrims today.
TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy said that SSD tokens issuance to devotees for Vaikunta Dwara Darshan has commenced and as of 6.00 pm of Sunday at 9 locations in Tirupati nearly 1.5 lakh tokens were distributed.
He said on all ten days SSD tokens will be issued till the completion of the allocated quota and TTD had made all arrangements of food and beverages both at Tirumala and Tirupati for for devotees.
He appealed to devotees to come for darshan only on given dates and time slots on tokens.
TTD Board members Sri Vaidyanathan Krishnamurthy, Additional EO (FAC) Sri Veerabrahmam, Annaprasadam DyEO Sri Selvam, Special Officer Catering Sri Shastri and other officials were present.
Subba Reddy on Sunday inaugurated the Annaprasadam Centre at (old Annaprasadam complex), later served and interacted acted with devotees who expressed immense pleasure over the arrangement of one more Annaprasadam.
Later speaking to media persons, the TTD Chairman said the TTD board had decided to open mini Anna Prasadam Bhavan on all four regions of Tirumala to facilitate devotees as the crowd numbers had surged at Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Complex.
