Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) & Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is jointly organising the Agritech south 2020 and Agrivision 2020 the 2nd edition of Exhibition and Conference on Agri- technology & innovation during 22-24th February 2020, in the premises of PJTSAU campus at Rajendranagar.
Vice President of India Sri M Venkaiah Naidu will be the chief guest and inaugurates the Agritech south 2020 at the university auditorium at 10AM on 22nd February 2020. Sri S Niranjanreddy, Agriculture Minister TS, Dr V Praveen Rao, Vice Chancellor PJTSAU , Dr B Janardhan Reddy, APC & Secretary, Agricultural Marketing and cooperation department, D Raju, Chairman, CII Telangana, Anil Kumar V Epur, Chairman Agritech south 2020 will also participate along with the Vice President of India in the inaugural programme.
In this 3day conference several deliberations will be held on various topics such as Intelligent Agriculture: Harnessing the Power of Artificial intelligence(AI) and digital technologies. The session will discuss on the digital interventions for smart agriculture such as Artificial Intelligence, Drones, remote sensing, big data analysis, Internet of Things (IoT), in enabling and empowering agriculture. In session II discussions will be held on Robotics & Automation: Enabling Agriculture through Robotics & Farm Machinery. This session will discuss on the latest advanced machinery in farming such as agricultural machinery and their features in increasing farm productivity and reducing production cost.
The IIIrd session will discuss on combating Climate change: Cutting edge Tools and Technologies for soil and Water management.
