Member of the Rajya Sabha Joginipalli Santosh Kumar presented a specially designed book titled Vriksha Vedam to Vice President Venkaiah Naidu at his residence in Hyderabad today .
Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, who saw the book, said that the book was so wonderful that looking at the landscape pictures reminded him of the days when he as a child would go into the woods with grandparents.
Those who have lived with nature have not been infected with the corona virus, he said, adding that the corona virus that plagues the world came from those who remained far from nature.
On this occasion, a hymn was read in the book, “A person who cuts down trees in vain will get an ulcer in the nerve, which means he will get sick due to oxygen deficiency.”
On the occasion of the birthday of Telangana Chief Minister KCR , he lauded the innovative * Koti Vriksharchana * program that Santosh undertaken as a great success and said that this program was ideal for others.
