Polling in Karnataka has begun except for one constituency. 64 percent of polling has been registered so far according to the official sources. The heads of Lingayatas have come out in open and are supporting the Congress party. They said that Siddharamaiah was not dividing Lingayatas. This is like a shot in the arm for the Congress party.
The election for Rajarajeshwari constituency has been postponed to 28th May. Fresh voter IDs will be issued in place of the seized one. The entire machinery of the Congress and the BJP have come to Karnataka and are putting all out efforts to see that they get the votes polled for their own respective candidates.
Money and liquor have been flowing since last night. The EC received several complaints of money distribution to the voters. All the three main parties are giving money to the voters it is reported.
Both the parties are confident that they will get the power. But the JDS is equally confident that it will be the king maker and take the CM seat in the bargain.
