MP Asaddudin Owaisi took to X today to announce the Charminar facelift project which is going to be initiated soon. The project will also have a visitor plaza with public utilities for the people visiting the iconic Charminar and its vicinity.
The pedestrianization for Charminar is already going on from the state Government side. KTR the Minister for Municipal Administration has given a statement in the Assembly that the work would be completed at the earliest.
Sharing the artist’s 3D Visualization of the finished building on his X handle, Asaduddin Owaisi mentioned that the project has been planned and designed keeping in mind Hyderabad’s distinct cultural identity while at the same time ensuring that the visiting families can enjoy clean and safe public spaces.
Charminar will soon get a facelift with a visitor’s plaza and facilities for the people. We want to protect Hyderabad’s distinct cultural identity and also ensure that families can enjoy clean & safe public spaces.
Perhaps this is the first time that the Hyderabad MP has announced a development project of this kind. He has been doing something or the other for the development of Old city in particular.
