The deity here is Sri Veerabhadra Swamy was born to stop Dakshayagna. There is a talk that Lord Shiva who is in the form of Veerabhadrudu got married here at the Temple in Marumulla located in the East Godavari district. The Temple is very close to the controversial Polavaram Project.

The Kalyanam ticket is Rs 800 and two people are allowed. The tickets can be booked online and the Kalyanam will be performed on your name if you cannot attend.
