There is a talk in the Film Industry that the YSRC leaders want to take the lands of Visakhapatnam studio back in the name of the Government.
Now the Government wants the Ramanidu Studio lands back. The Government is not in a hurry they hinted it seems. It is only one studio near beach Road. It has a good view.
Now that the proposed Capital is coming in Visakhapatnam, the Government is interested in these lands. There is talk that Vijay Sai Reddy the MP is behind this.
The Government is proposing the CMs camp office here. They want to give alternative land to the studio owners. It is now popular as Ramanaidu hill.
A lot of infrastructure has been developed by Suresh Productions here in this area. Now the Government wants to take it back and give some other land for the studios.
Even before the studio was built, number of shootings were taking place in Visakhapatnam. Jandhyala the director and Chirnajeevi the hero liked Visak very much.
The studio was being developed in 2001 by the Ramanidu family. The cinema people and the people, in general, are opposing the move of the YSRC Government.
