Kohli missed the first three matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have lost two of their three games so far this season and are languishing sixth on the points table after finishing runners-up in 2016.

“He will now be available for RCB’s next match against Mumbai Indians on April 14 in Bengaluru.”

The 28-year-old shattered several records in IPL 2016, amassing 973 runs and cracking four hundreds, the most ever in a single season.

“The Indian Captain had undergone rehabilitation after sustaining an injury to his right shoulder and has now recovered to be able to participate in VIVO IPL 2017,” the release further said.
