The TTD has decided they will organise the VIP break darshan from morning 10 to 12noon. The board members also decided that the room allotment would be done in Tirupati for accommodation on the TTD.
The regular free darshan tickets will be allotted online with slots after the Brahmotsavams.
Geysers will be fixed in all the rooms on TTD. So the pilgrims have to waste half a day in Tirupathi before reaching Tirumala which is not the right thing to do.
The TTD board members are making several changes in the name of improving amenities to the pilgrims but we have to see how far the changes will be useful to the common man.
The very fact that the slot tickets are being issued for Sarva darshan indicates that the common man is being restricted not to go on to the hill shrine-like in the earlier times.
The other decision that you have to take rooms in Tirupathi for staying in Tirumala also shows that you are being restricted from entering the TTD before having a room and a darshan ticket.
But we have to see what happens to the VIP letters who will see them and give the darshan and rooms. Huge funds have been allocated for the development of guest houses and also rooms.
But the general opinion is that the team under the leadership of Subba Reddy has spoiled the sanctity of the TTD and bungled everything. The common man is going away from God and the money is dictating the terms to Lord Balaji on the hill shrine.
