Vinayaka Chavithi will be celebrated on September 7 at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati.
Special programs will be held in the temple on this occasion.In the morning, Sri Vinayaka is awakened with a Suprabhatam followed by Abhishekam and Archana are to the moolavarlu.
At 5.30 pm, Gramotsavam will be conducted for Sri Vinayaka Swamy on Mushika Vahanam.

Abhishekam is performed for the Moolavarlu on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi in the temple of Sri Vinayaka Swamy on Second Ghat Road from 8 to 9 am. Archana and special pooja programs will be held. The 1051st Avatarotsavams of the renowned Sri Vaishnava Saint Sri Tirumala Nambi will be observed in Tirumala on September 9.
As a part of this, versatile scholars will give lectures on the lifestyle and contributions of Sri Nambi in Tirumala Nambi temple located in the South Mada street of Tirumala from 9:30am onwards.
Meanwhile Sri Tirumala Nambi who happens to be the Guru as well maternal uncle of Sri Ramanujacharya, pioneered ”Theertha Kainkaryam” in the temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
