Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited political entry has been the talk of the town for the past few weeks. There is a talk that he would go on the padayatra even before the release of his movie Leo.

The chatter around his political debut grew louder as he met the members of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (VMI) at his Panaiyur office in Chennai.

Rumors are doing the rounds that Vijay will go on a padayatra across Tamil Nadu before the release of ‘Leo’. However, an official announcement regarding the same is still awaited.

The movie Leo is being directed by Kangaraj of Vikram fame. Recently he interacted with some students where he distributed some books and encouraged the students.

He will be shooting for his untitled film with Venkat Prabhu in November. After wrapping up this project, he is likely to concentrate on politics full-time.

There is a talk that he will take a break from politics for about three years where he would look at the political entry. However, nothing is confirmed.

Vijay must note that Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth failed in politics. Chiranjeevi from Telugu states is another example.
