Karan Johar the producer from Dharma Productions wanted to make a movie with Jahnvi and Vijay. Karan likes dear Comrade and wanted to do a remake of that. But Comrade bombed at the box office in South India. Now there is a doubt if Karan will make the Comrade for the Bollywood market.
But there is a talk that Siddharth Roy Kapoor has got a script ready and Karan liked it. They want to take Vijay for the same so that they can sell the movie in the south market also including Telugu, Tamil and other south Indian languages.
But right now Vijay is busy with two movies, one with Puri Jagannath. Puri is planning to make a mass masala with Vijay Devarakona and it is reported that they are asking Jahnvi for the same to join Vijay.
But now with Bollywood calling Vijay, it has to be seen if Puri would start the project, or Karan will take the chance. Vijay recently announced that he wanted to stick to Tollywood for some time. At the same time, he cannot say no to Karan Johar the king of Bollywood.
One thing is clear that Vijay has climbed down from his stardom and is looking at the script first. After Geetagovindam he was overconfident. Now he has to get a hit to stay in the limelight.
