Venkatesh is going slow but he is steady. He is a steady actor and most of his films are an average hit. The suresh Production is owned by his family but they have scaled down the movie making process. After the death of the legend Ramanaidu, the Suresh Productions is in the stage of a wait and watch game with the film industry. The division of the state also has some impact, but they are in Hyderabad and Venky loves Hyderabad.
After Babu Bangaram it is reported that Venkatesh is preparing himself for the role of a boxing coach in the Telugu remake of Saala Khadoos (Irudhi Suttru in Tamil), here is the news that the film could go on the floors from Sept 7. The film is written and directed by Sudha Kongara, the one who directed the original. Venkatesh will play the role of Madhavan. Madhavan did well in this movie and Venky is also gearing up for the same to meet and match the standards.
The film will be presented by Prasad V Potluri. Except for Venkatesh, most of the cast and crew will be drawn from the original version. Ritika Singh, who played Madhi, will reprise herself. So also Mumtaz Sorcar, Nasser, Radha Ravi, Zakir Hussain, and Kaali Venkat, among others. Music is by Santosh Narayanan of Kabali fame. Cinematography is by Sivakumar Vijayan. Art direction is by Santhanam.
Venky is trying to get into the shape for the movie with a muscular body it is reported. He is not learning boxing, but sources close him said that he is watching the moves of boxing and the way they get coaching. It is learnt that he has watched Sultan earlier.
