M Harsha Vardhan, MD of Harsha Toyota who is the son of former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu donated a Toyota Rider -a hybrid of petrol and an electric car worth ₹19 lakhs to TTD.
He handed over the keys of the vehicle to TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy in front of Srivari temple.
TTD transport DI Sri Janakirami Reddy and others were present. Meanwhile, it is taking around forty hours for the darshan of Lord Balaji here at the TTD.
The TTD officials are finding it very difficult to control the inflow of Pilgrims to Temple Town. Eo Dharma Reddy has appealed to the pilgrims to postpone the trip to TTD as there is a heavy rush and a lack of accommodation.
Yesterday around eighty thousand pilgrims could get the darshan of Balaji here. There is no food and water for the pilgrims standing in lines for the darshan.
Meanwhile, the Venkateshwara Vaibhavotsam has begun here in Hyderabad at the NTR stadium in the heart of the city.
Now the TTD is planning to shift the allotment of accommodation to Tirupathi. There is no clarity for the people who are carrying the letters for the VIP darshan.
