Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao today attended the Ugadi celebrations hosted by Governor Narasimhan at Rajbhavan. He was greeted by Governor and his wife for the celebrations.
Apart from Ministers, MLAs,MLCs some intellectuals and retired police officers were also seen at the event. Former DGP Dora was seen sitting behind Governor. Council chairman Swamy Goud was seen with black goggles as he was injured in the assembly.
Ugadi is being celebrated across the Telugu states on Sunday. Both the CM and Governor greeted the people of the state. Vimala Narasimhan also was seen actively greeting the VIPs and also talking to the CM KCR here. Some cultural programs were also organised for the guests.
While the program was going on KCR was seen engrossed in discussions with the Governor. Governor presented saffron colour flowers to KCR here at Rajbhavan.
later Venkaiah was seen sitting in between KCR and Narasimhan. Blind children from Devnar institute performed Seetha Swayamvaram ballot.
