Renuka Chowdhary who was beautiful and grabbed many eyeballs right from her corporate days during the TDP regime in united AP. Now she has become overweight and lost her shape.
Vice President Venkaiah Naidu today suggested her to reduce her weight and contribute to increasing the weight of the Congress in Public. Renuka was making her farewell speech in the Rajya Sabha.
It was in a lighter vein Venkaiah suggested this weight reduction theory to Renuka Chowdhary. Renuka was known as a firebrand leader, but Venkaiah can match her very easily.
Renuka who is 63 opined that people worry about her weight, but she said that people here in politics must throw their weight around. She said that Venkaiah knows her many kilos before, meaning she is overweight now.
At this point in time, Venakaiah suggested Renuka reduce her weight and contribute to increasing the Congress weight.Renuka shot back saying that the Congress is fine.
The members enjoyed these comments and were seen laughing.Renuka also reminded that she contested for Deputy Chairs post against Nazma. That would have solved many issues Venkaiah said. She wanted more women to come up in politics.
It may be noted that she was compared to Surpanakha by Modi when she laughed loudly against Modi over his speech.
