The annual three-day spring festival of Vasanthotsavam will be observed in Tirumala from April 21 to 23 in the Vasantha Mandapam.
Every day there will be Snapanam to the Utsava deities as Upasamanotsavam from the scorching temperatures. The festival is being observed in such a way that it concludes on Chaitra Suddha Pournami. On the second day, there will be a procession of Golden Chariot in the morning. On the last day, Astanam will be performed.
TTD has cancelled arjita sevas like Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam, and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on these three days besides Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva on April 23.
The clothes donated by devotees to Tirumala Srivari Temple and other TTD-affiliated temples will be auctioned from April 15 to 23.
There are 335 lots of new, used, partially damaged garments.
This includes Art Silk Dhotis, Uttariyams, Turkey Towels, Lungis, Dupattas, Shawls, Bed Sheets, Napkins, Hand Kerchiefs, Punjabi Dress Materials, Jamkanas, and Carpets.
