Mega Prince Varun Tej has climbed one more step in acting. Varun Tej has proved beyond doubt that he can do the negative roles also. Earlier he was used to doing the roles of a lover boy. Now Director Harish Shankar has brought one more angle out of him.
Jigarthanda was rehashed and Gaddalakonda Ganesh was made. Harish the director has also done well in giving twists and turns to the story. Varun has carried the story on his shoulders and has done well. The leading lady Puja Hegde has also transformed herself into a village girl very well.
The name Valmiki was changed to Gaddalakonda Ganesh but the movie did well and has got a hit talk from the first show itself. It has collected about 5 crores at the box office and is poised to collect more.
On the whole, it is another hit to the tally of Varun Tej and mega family. Naga babu the father of Varun is a happy man that his son has got one more hit and that too a different story altogether.
Varun also expressed his happiness that he was able to do the character as suggested by Harish Shankar. The music director Mickey must get some credit as he could do the music for a mass masala movie.
