TRS candidate Vani Devi is surging ahead in the MLC election. The very fact that K Chandrasekhar Rao the TRS Boss selected Vani from the Brahmin community and being the daughter of Prime Minister PV Narsimha Rao made all the difference.
They scored over the BJP sitting MLC Ramachandra Rao. The TRS candidate has got a clear edge now. Congress is nowhere in the race.
TRS working President KTR Rama Rao who is spearheading the campaign for the TRS working president specifically appealed to the youth to exercise their franchise in the MLC elections.
“There is a notion that literates do not cast their votes in elections and this has to change,” he said. Since the MLC elections are being conducted on Sunday, he urged the people not to plan a holiday but to stay back and cast their vote.

The BJP is just harping on the division of Brahmin vote from time to time. They are saying that the TRS is dividing the Brahmin vote to win this election.
The other candidate Palla Rajeswhar is also campaigning day and night for his victory. When compared to other parties the TRS has the edge as they are the ruling party.
While Palla is already a known figure, Vani Devi is gaining sympathy with voters in the name of PV Narsimha Rao who has done a lot for the country. Now they are set to give Vanidevi a chance by electing her as the MLC.
