Atal Behari Vajpayee the iconic non-controversial leader always loved food. He would get Laddoos from Kanpur. He also liked Lata Mangeshkar the singer and treated her as his daughter. Lata called him dada and treated like her father.
He liked samosas and Kaju and never bothered about the health when it comes to having good food. He liked Manila and Hyderabad. Manila he liked fro the atmosphere and Hyderabad for the Biryani. Whenever he was in Hyderabad made a point to have the Biryani and also kebabs.
He never hesitated in having food and asking for good food. Most of his friends used to get him Laddoos from Kanpur. Sometimes he also got the Biryani and Samosas from Hyderabad.
Whenever he had some time he used to get the food done and ask his journalist friends to join him. The same quality is with Venkaiah Naidu also our VP. Both Vajpayee and Venkaiah liked to share the food with journalists and then share the idea and news also. Eating phalli was his regular habit and he liked phalli more than the almonds.
During cabinet meetings, he was seen eating the nuts and also ordered the same for others. But others preferred almonds. Gandhiji also liked Peanuts like Vajpayee. When he visited Kolkata Vajpayee used to have Chaat and gupchup or panipuri. He also liked Hemamalini when it comes to acting and used to sing songs also for his friends.
He used to discuss about the cartoons in newspapers. Sharing the food and snacks was his regular habit and had the company of someone or the other while having the food.
