K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for IT and industries today said that there is no permission for digging the Uranium resources in the Nallamla forests. He was replying to the members in the legislative council.
It may be noted that he also tweeted against the Uranium finding in the Nallmala forestes. There is already a hue and cry against the digging of the forest lands in the Nallamala. The film stars also have protested against the quarrying in the forest lands.
Minister KTR said that even if the resources are found, the Government would not allow the digging of forest lands and also itis against the cutting of the trees in the forests as there is a tiget reserve here in the Nallamala forests.
The IT Minister also assured that he would take up the matter with the Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao. It looks like for the time being there will be no digging of the forests lands for the sake of Uranium here in Telangana.
