KTR the state Minister has announced an exgratia of three lakh each to the kin of people who died in the Ruby Lodge fire accident in Secunderabad.
On the other hand, Union Minister Kishan Reddy was not allowed into the lodge during his visit. Kishan Reddy is the MP from Secunderabad, but he was not allowed into the Lodge for the inspection.
The Minister for Home Mahmood Ali and Minister Talasani also visited the Lodge which was gutted in the fire.
Eight people died in the fire accident and four of them are serious in the Hospital. The people died as they could not escape out of the Lodge which did not have proper entry and exit routes.
There were no proper fire safety norms observed in the Lodge. The parking area in the cellar was misused for storing Gas cylinders, batteries and new e-vehicles apart from the Generator.
There was no fire exit at all. The fire accident occurred due to lithium batteries it is reported. A case has been booked on the owner of the Ruby lodge who was also selling electric bikes and petrol bikes in the same building.
Prime Minister Modi also expressed shock at the incident where eight people died in the fire accident. Modi also announced an exgratia of Rs two lakh each to the families of the people who died and Rs fifty thousand to the people who were injured in the fire accident.
