More than 20 women Journalists are fighting against the Union Minister MJ Akbar who filed a defamation against some of them refuting the Me Too allegations. He was finally forced to resign.
Many journalists signed the petition against Akbar and they wanted the court to hear them before taking the final decision on defamation filed by Akbar. As a senior Journalist, Akbar must know what he is doing and must step down as he is facing the allegations from 20 women who worked with him.
If the BJP government claims to be a clean government and want to protect the interest of women, the BJP chief Amit Shah should have asked Akbar to resign immediately. Instead, the Modi Government is trying to shield a molester and a predator who is being accused by more 20 lady journalists who worked with him in various newspapers.
The latest is that one of the ladies was invited into his hotel room while he was on an underwear. Another lady recalled that she was invited by Akbar into the hotel room with just a bath towel. These pieces of evidence from the ladies are more than enough, and if the government feel responsible they must ask Akbar to resign. There are instances where the Governments have asked the ministers to resign if they were facing the allegations.
Here 20 Journalists have come out in open and are talking against the Minister in open and it is wrong that the BJP Government was trying to shield MJ Akbar. Finally, the creep minister has resigned.
