The TRS office has turned into a ultra modern corporate office now. A circular road was created around the office so that the vehicular traffic will not face any traffic snarls.
The office was given a white wash from outside and it looks absolutely pearl white. The Office board has been changed.
After “lucky” saplings, interiors of Telangana Bhavan including Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s and other party leaders’ offices have got a face lift. The budget was huge but the results are very good. The office now looks plush up to the first floor.
As one enters the building, a huge smiling portrait of Mr KCR flanked by those of Telangana Talli and the TS memorial and a bust of Telangana ideologue Prof. A. Jayashanker greets people. While going out a black and white photo of KCR will smile at you,
Telangana Bhavan, headquarters of the TRS on Road No 10, Banjara Hills, has been renovated with ultra modern facilities.
The wooden boards displaying names of artists, cuisines, art and culture, dialects, jatras, festivals, irrigation projects and others dating from the statehood agitation days have been replaced with more attractive boards.
The building over a period of time was in bad state with the false ceiling coming off and many parts of the building chipped off.The water was oozing from the interiors and there were no proper toilet facilities.
Before the TRS Foundation day celebrations, the renovation of the entire building was ordered.
“The renovation works have been completed. It cost a couple of lakhs,” a senior TRS leader said.
KCR has already visited the office from outside along with Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, but he did not enter inside into this office, The next time KCR visits party office, he will sit in the plush office.
A modern mini conference hall with power point presentation facilities has been set up adjacent to it. There is a hall for press conferences and a visitors’ room.
The renovated convention hall with new audio system can accommodate 500 people and will be used for TRS Legislature Party and other party meetings. The total area is about 40,000 sq ft and the building has about 50 rooms.
K.T. Rama Rao, Mayor Bonthu Rammo-han and others inspected the Bhavan and planned the renovation works. The entire parking inside was shifted to outer ring of the office. No one except the CM can park his vehicles inside the office. The security has been beefed up and people with some genuine work are allowed inside. Some more works are to be taken up in the first and second floors and it would take some more time.
People thought TRS chiefs son K T Rama Rao might come into the plush TRS office as the TRS chief. But somehow it did not meterialise, but the show goes on. The parking was removed and a new lawn attracts people with green grass and soothing to the eye.
