The rebel camp from Sena has shifted to Gauhati this morning. Shinde the rebel group leader has released a video with thirty-six MLAs and wants to follow the Hindutva ideology of Balasaheb.
There is a chance that Shinde would show his numbers and claim that he is the leader of Sena and then join the BJP in forming the Government. Assam Chief Minister is overseeing the camp at a hotel and he visited the MLAs this morning.
Sena MLAs were very unhappy with Uddhav and his Aditya and that was the reason they took sides with the BJP in the MLC elections and finally pulled off this coup against the family rule.
Two more MLAs are en route to Assam this morning it is reported. Some Congress leaders are also expected to join the BJP it is reported. Senior leader Kamalnath will be going to Mumbai to hold the flock together.
A sena BJP alliance is unlikely. The BJP is all set to form the Government with Shinde group. Meanwhile, the Governor of Maharashtra Koshiyari is hospitalised for Covid. The Governor is not going to give any appointments for today.
A clear picture would emerge by this evening.
