There is a talk in AP political circles that Jaganmohan Reddy is contemplating going in for early elections. They could be in the next summer.
That is the reason that the cabinet has been named the election cabinet.

It is reported that the poll strategist Prashant Kishore has advised Jagan and his team to start the election campaign from now so that they can cross a hundred seats in the coming elections.
Getting 150 seats is impossible this time. Jagan might retain power with a slender margin or the TDP will sweep the polls. The Jana Sena may cross the double-digit and the Congress will be nowhere along with the BJP.
At the same time, Jagan has suggested his think tank come up with new ideas for implementing the welfare schemes for the people. In other words, he would keep pumping money into the pockets of voters on a regular basis.
People want money and they don’t bother about the financial health of the state so on and so forth. Jagan is prepared to take the risk of borrowing money and also crossing the limits as he is doing it for helping the power and the downtrodden.
Coming back to power is the main agenda.
