TTD chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy reiterated that the TTD will continue its leadership in promoting Sanatana Hindu Dharma across the globe.
Ahead of addressing a grand parade organised as part of the 76/Independence Day celebrations at the TTD parade grounds the TTD chairman unfurled the national Tiranga glad and received a guard of honor.
Bhumana said:
* Tirumala is a holy shrine of Sri Mahavishnu and TTD is a leader in the propagation of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
* Employees should work with dedication, devotion and commitment to devotees.
* House sites for TTD employees will soon be allocated.
* All devotees served two free meals a day without any link to srivari Darshan and a small laddu after Darshan
* To contain religious conversions Srinivasa Kalyanams are performed at dalitwadas and Dalit Govindam program.
* TTD also conducted the Kalayanamastu program and performed 32,000 weddings till date.
* TTD launched the SVBC channel and has a viewership of 8 crores now.
* A separate Vedic University set up for the protection and promotion of Vedic studies as per the vision of Former AP CM Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
* TTD granted house plots earlier and now with the blessing of honorable AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy 430 acres acquired to allot house sites to TTD employees.
