As the twin brahmotsavams are scheduled in September and October, TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy asked the vegetable donors from Southern States to supply varieties of vegetables focussing on organic veggies also.
The meeting was held at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala on Monday evening. About 22 vegetable donors from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu Karnataka etc. have participated.
“During the last Brahmotsavams a total of 1.14lakh kilos of 25 varieties of vegetables were supplied. This year, we are planning a special menu ever day during Brahmotsavams for devotees and therefore increase the supply with more varieties of vegetables. Do concentrate on organic veggies as they are not only tastier but healthier also”, EO urged the donors.
Later he felicitated the vegetable donors with a shawl and presented Srivari Prasadams to them.
Deputy EO Annaprasadam Sri Rajendra Kumar, Catering Special Officer Sri Shastry and other staffs, donors were also present.As part of Gokulastami on September 7, Abhishekam will be performed to Sri Krishna Swamy mulavirat in Tiruchanoor.
In the evening snapanam will be observed to utsava deity in Sri Krishn Mukha Mandapam followed by Pedda Sesha Vahana seva in the night. Later Gokulastami Asthanam will be observed.
On September 8, on the day of Utlotsavam, Tirumanjanam and Unjal Seva will be observed.
TTD has cancelled Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on September 8 in the temple.
