TTD is organising the Sri Purandhara Dasa Aradhana Mahotsavam of Carnatic sangeet patriarch Sri Purandhara Dasa from February 8 to 10 at Asthana mandapam in Tirumala.
On the first day, that is 8th the collective Nagara Sankeertana programs and Purandhara Sahitya Gosti will be held.
On the second day on February 9, the statue of Sri Purandhara Dasa at Alipiri will be Garlanded.
Procession of the Srivari utsava idol from Srivari temple to Narayangiri Gardens and unjal seva, Dasa sankeernata will be held in the evening.
Among others on February 10 Nagara Sankeertana, bhajana and Hari dasa Rasamanjari programs will be observed.
Besides, the Sri Venkateshwara Navaratna Malika fete will be observed on February 7.
On the same day, for the first time, young artists in music, dance and instrumental fields will be presented awards by TTD.
TTD is organising several special festivals at Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple in the month of February.
* February 3,10,17,24 – all Saturdays Abhisekam for main idols of Sri Sitaramaa and Lakshmana in the morning and Unjal Seva, Tiruveedhi Utsavam and Asthanam in the evening.
* February 9: On the occasion of Amavasya, Sahasra Kalashabisekam in the morning and Hanumanta Vahana Seva at night.
* February 21: On Punarvasu Nakshatram Sri Sitarama Kalyanam and Procession of Swamy and Ammavaru utsava idols up to Sri Ramachandra Pushkarani, Unjal Seva and Asthanam in the evening.
* February 25: Kupchandrapeta Utsava on Pournami day.
