The India coffee house in Tirumala is starving for funds to survive. It is located near the Lepakshi Circle dishing out good Upma and Idly wada. The Coffee is super here and the tiffins are affordable and homely.

But there is a lone passionate, cook, server, cum all other duties man running the show with great difficulty at this central government hotel on Tirumala.

The central subsidy is not being sanctioned and they are unable to make Dosa and other items for the pilgrims. TTD drivers and other employees throng this coffee house for Tiffen at cheaper rates.

The taste is mindboggling but the items are few due to paucity of funds. If Modi wins next time, the coffee house will not be there says the lone crusader who is running the show for the sake of pilgrims.

It is the duty of the Minister for Tourism Kishan Reddy to look into the sorry state of affairs at the world-famous Pilgrim center where the Indian coffee house is on the verge of extinction.

There is not even a proper signboard for this eatery where the tiffins are excellent in taste. While this hotel is serving food at affordable rates, all other joints are selling at higher rates and are being run on a commercial basis.

The Government and also the TTD authorities must come to the rescue of this coffee house to serve the minimum needs of the middle-class pilgrims.
