In connection with Maha Siva Ratri on February 18, a special abhishekam will be performed to Kshetrapalaka Rudra located near Gogarbham in Tirumala on Saturday.
Every TTD performs this special ritual on an auspicious occasion. A team of temple staff including Archakas reach Kshetrapalaka Rudra at 3pm and perform the Abhishekam.
After offering Neivedyam, the distribute prasadams to devotees and return to the temple.TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the visiting devotees at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple on February 18.
The arrangements including parking, barricading, queue lines, shades, Annarpasadam, water distribution, security etc. are being planned in an elaborate manner to meet the pilgrim crowd.
The important rituals on Saturday include Mahanyasapoorvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam will be performed between 2.30am and 4.30am on the day of Maha Sivaratri while Rathotsavam between 8am and 10am followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam.
In the evening, between 6pm and 10pm, the Nandi Vahana Seva is observed while the devotees will be allowed for darshan between 5.30am and 2pm, again between 4.30pm and 12mid night.
TTD has also arranged important devotional cultural programs on auspicious occasions.
