TTD is committed to spread and is putting a lot of efforts to take forward Vedic education for the sake of future generations, said the EO Sri J Syamala Rao.
He visited SV Vedic University in Tirupati on Wednesday and held a review meeting on the activities of the university.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, he said that SV Vedic University was started by TTD in 2006. Since then, a high level of research has been done in Vedic education. As part of Vedic research,they are committed to bring out the knowledge contained in the Vedas for the benefit of society.
He said that subjects like trigonometry, Vedic maths and astronomy are present in the Vedas. Adding further the EO said that all common people need to know these things.
”There is a need to provide the knowledge of ancient Indian sciences to the youth of today with the cooperation of IIT. Appropriate steps shall be taken to collect, fix and digitize the ancient Manuscripts and preserve them carefully”, EO asserted.
He informed that in the future too, the science of the Vedas will be made available to the people and efforts will be made to protect Hindu Sanatana Dharma.
Later, he inspected the students’ classrooms, hostels, recording studio and palmistry books. Later, Shukla Yajurveda Vajasaneeyapradi Sakhyamu and ‘Sevadi’ of Vedic books were released.
