TTD for the first time submits a Budget

Forst the first time in the History of the TTD a reduced budget estimate was approved by the Board. This was done due to the reduction in income for the TTD due to Covid conditions.

The TTD Trust Board Meeting was held under the Chairmanship of YV Subba Reddy at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday.TTD Board members have approved a revised budget of Rs 2553 crore for the year 2020-21.

TTD had earlier introduced a budget of Rs 3309 crore. Due to the corona, TTD’s other incomes, including hundi, declined. TTD earned only Rs 721 crore through hundi last year. The Finance department has prepared budget proposals of Rs 2,837 crore for 2021-22.

For the first time in TTD history, the budget was lower than last year. Finance officials have reduced budget estimates as conditions in the corona background are under control.
