TTD flower photo exhibition

The natural flower-photo exhibition is one of the much-awaited events during the Srivari Brahmotsavams Tirumala with attractive concepts grabbing the attention of the multitude of visiting pilgrims every year.

The Garden department of TTD stood out with unique concepts taken from Hindu mythology including Draupadi Vastrapaharanam, the famous Ghatotkacha(Maya Bazar), Brihannala-Uttara Kumara episodes from Mahabharata. Sri Krishna from Vijayawada, who has been carving the deities with vegetables, ice, cereals, fruits etc.

For the past decade, has come out with the concept of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi Devi decked in bell peppers, brinjals, raddish, cherry tomatoes, beans, broccoli and Sri Rama with Hanuman in Navadhanyas.

While the episodes of Ravana killing Jatayu, Lava-Kusa, Sri Rama Jananam, Mohini-Bhasmasura, Bheemasena-Bakasura, Anantalwar episodes besides Ananta Padmanabha Swamy of Tiruvanantapuram remained a centre of attraction.

The Photo exhibition, this year, threw focus on the Alipiri and Srivari Mettu footpath routes, moods and emotions of pilgrims during vahana sevas and recent initiatives by TTD.

The replica of Seshachala ranges starting from Garuda Statue in Alipiri to Tirumala temple by Forest wing, the stone, cement, steel, wood and paint works by the traditional Sculpture Institute of TTD, Ayurvedic products, religious and spiritual books are enhanced the glory of TTD.
