TTD has reduced the SSD tokens issuing centers to 04 from January 4 onwards.
Henceforth the centres at Bhudevi Complex, Vishnu Nivasam, Srinivasam and Govindarajaswamy Choultries only.
The devotees are requested to make note of this.In connection with Vaikuntha Ekadasi on Monday, the procession of Swarna Ratham was held at Tirumala.
The deities of Malayappa along with Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken on a celestial ride on the golden chariot which was pulled by devotees, especially women.
The women employees of TTD have also participated in the chariot pulling with enthusiasm.
The devotees chanted Govinda… Govinda with religious ecstasy while the mammoth carrier was marching all along the mada streets.
On the occasion of Vaikuntha Dwadasi, Chakra Snanam was performed to Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar in all the local temples under the umbrella of TTD on Tuesday.
The event was observed at Tiruchanoor, Srinivasa Mangapuram, Appalayagunta, Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple, Chandragiri Ramalayam in and around Tirupati.
While the religious fete was also observed at Ñarayanavanam, Nagulapuram, other outside temples and also in taken over temples of TTD.
