Due to the incessant rains, all the five major reservoirs are full and overflowing in Tirumala.
The gates of the Papavinasanam and Gogarbham dams were lifted and the water is released.
The water level details of the reservoirs as of 12 noon on Friday are as follows.
1) Papavinasanam Dam :- 697.00 m. FRL:- 697.14 m.
Storage Capacity:- 5240.00 Lakh Gallons.
Current storage:- 5192.00 lakh gallons.
2) Gogarbham Dam :- 2894.00 feet
FRL :- 2894.00 Ft
Storage Capacity:- 2833.00 lakh gallons.
Current storage:- 2833.00 lakh gallons.
3) Akashaganga Dam :- 865.00 m
FRL :- 865.00 m.
Storage Capacity:- 685.00 lakh gallons.
Current storage:- 685.00 lakh gallons.
4) Kumaradhara Dam:- 898.15 m.
FRL:- 898.24m.
Storage Capacity:- 4258.98 lakh gallons.
Current storage:- 4229.42 lakh gallons.
5) Pasupudhara Dam :- 898.15 m.
FRL:- 898.24m.
Storage Capacity:- 1287.51 Lakh Gallons.
Current storage:- 1267.48 lakh gallons.
