TTD canceled Pournami Garuda Seva on January 6 that is today. Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri Biswabhushan Harichandan had Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam in Tirumala temple on Thursday.
On his arrival at Mahadwaram, he was received by TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy and later welcomed with the traditional Isthikaphal.
After having the darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy inside the sanctum sanctorum, the Governor had Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam along with his family and entourage.
Later at Ranganayakula Mandapam, he was offered Vedaseervachanam followed by a presentation of Theertha Prasadams, photo of Srivaru, 2023 TTD Calendars and Diaries.
On the fourth day evening of the ongoing annual Teppotsavams in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple at Tirupati, Sri Chandikeswara Swamy along with Sri Chandra Sekhara Swamy blessed the devotees on the finely decked float.
The Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad wing of TTD is organizing competitions to school students in Vishnu Sahasra Namam and Achutastakam.
The competitions will be held on February 1 at 9am in Annamacharya Kalamandiram.
For students below ten years in Achutastakam and for those between 10 years to 15 years in Vishnu Sahasra Namam will be conducted.
The students should register their names and the winners will be given away prizes on the same day.
